Another big game for our season. Could we make it 3 wins in a row?
Captain Power up first as normal and the game turned on a snooker escape and then a lucky snooker at the end game. Power lost the frame.
Mop made it 1-1 after he was gifted 2 shots.
Wobly followed it up with a win to put master8ers 2-1 up,
Like 2 boxers trading punches the next 8 frames where swapped WL between teams. Neither team gaining a firm foothold in the game.
Frame 12 Mop bucked the trend to win his third of the night and put Master8ers 7-5 up
Rosary came back with a counter punch to make it 7-6
But with the final few blows from the master8ers we took the last 2 frames to seal a close 9-6 win.
Result: 9-6 win and the third on the bounce. This should seal survival and we can look to see if we can catch above middle placed teams. |
